going to the park

the other day, tabby and i were at the dining table having breakfast and the boys were asking if they could go to the park. it was about 9am.

mica:  mom, dad, can we go to the park, please?
me:  sure, you can go... tab?
mica:  (to tabby) aw... please, papa?!
tab:  maybe not, love, because you have to get ready to go to rockwell for your tennis lessons by 10.30...
mica:  but mom! dad! we have to go to see the girls!
me:  what?!  no!  no park!  (notice my instinctive reaction! haha)
gabe:  (hitting mica's leg)  no mom! friends! we're going to see our friends!!
mica:  (looking anywhere but me) um... oops!
tab:  (laughing)  sige, go na! go to the park!  (notice tabby's instinctive reaction!  how different!!)

hay naku! tabby talaga!  =)
